Pierre Le Sueur who would become significant in the Methodist movement owned a Freshwater property which he sold to Clement Noel:

189-190 19 Sept., 1786 Abraham Le Sueur Edward Pakenham [enclosed with other documents] report made by a salmon fisher about an encounter with the French over fishing rights; says that he refused to leave when ordered by the French.

 

in 1745 Daniel  Le Sueur was installed in Oporto Portugal as a wine Agent. It looks like his partner was a Mr. Trollope. His wife was the daughter of an English merchant Benjamin Juie??. The firm in the English Factory of Oporto was Warre , Lesueuer and Trollope in 1750 –  Warre, Lesueuer and Calvert in 1759.
